Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Southampton and Stoke City are all interested in signing Giannelli Imbula from FC Porto in the January transfer window, according to L’Equipe.
It has been reported by the French publication that Porto could sell the midfielder this month despite signing him from Marseille in the summer of 2015.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes recently told The Sun that he is interested in securing the services of Imbula.
Much was expected of Imbula when he moved to Portugal, but he has struggled to play well so far this season.
During his time at Marseille, the 23-year-old had established himself as one of the best midfielders in Ligue 1.
Porto are third in the Portuguese Primeira Liga table at the moment with 40 points from 18 matches, just five points behind leaders Sporting Lisbon.
The Portuguese giants finished third in the Champions League Group G and dropped to the Europa League. Jose Peseiro’s side will take on German outfit Borussia Dortmund in the round of 32.
