Alan Pardew says that Crystal Palace would be in the top four if they had Harry Kane in their squad.
Palace have lacked a clinical striker all season, with Connor Wickham currently being their leading scoring front man despite hitting just one goal.
Wickham’s solitary strike came from the penalty spot against Southampton, and Pardew feels that a clinical finisher is all that lies between Palace and the Champions League places.
Even without a potent front man, Palace have still put together a very impressive campaign.
The Eagles have surpassed expectations and been one of the surprise packages in England’s top flight this season.
Pardew’s side are currently in eighth place in the Premier League table, and they sit above the likes of Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea.
Palace appear to be planning to solve their striking crisis in January, with the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner both linked by Sky Sports.
