West Brom fans react on Twitter to Sebastien Pocognoli’s performance v Bristol City

West Brom

Sebastien Pocognoli featured last night as West Brom defeated Bristol City.

The Baggies fought past Bristol City last night, with Salomon Rondon’s goal enough to clinch passage through to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

It was a lovely finish from the striker, and it was well deserved for the performance put in by Tony Pulis’ men.

They were never really threatened, and even losing Chris Brunt in the first-half through injury was not too big a loss.

Brunt was replaced at left-back by Sebastien Pocognoli, who was coming on for just his fourth appearance of the season.

He has been perennially outcast by Pulis since the manager was appointed at the Hawthorns, but has performed when called upon, and he was extremely solid in the defence despite having little first-team football to his name.

Pocognoli's performance might be enough to convince Pulis to give him a run out in the Premier League, especially if Brunt is out of action for an extend period of time, and West Brom fans reacted to his performance in a positive manner.
