Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate his teammate Nacho Monreal on signing a new contract.
On Tuesday, Monreal put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with Arsenal, as reported on the club’s official website.
Cazorla is happy for his Spain international teammate, and believes that he deserves it.

Monreal joined Arsenal from Spanish club Malaga in January 2013 and has established himself as one of the better left-backs in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old has been in good form so far this season and is playing a key role in the Gunners’ push for the league title.
The former Osasuna star has created 21 chances in 22 Premier League games this campaign. Monreal has a pass accuracy of 84% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and has won 40 headers, 12 dribbles and 38 tackles.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 44 points from 22 matches, level on points with Leicester City and ahead on goal difference.
