According to the Daily Mail, West Ham want a big signing for their move to the Olympic Stadium - and Marseille's Michy Batshuayi is their top target.
The Hammers snapped up full back Sam Byram from Leeds United in a smart move earlier today, but there are still hols up front given the injury situation at Upton Park.
Manager Slaven Bilic has seen Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho both go down with injuries, leaving him with few options up front, and West Ham are almost expected to sign a new striker this month.
The Daily Mail report that Nigerian international Emmanuel Emenike could join the club on loan, with West Ham saving their money for a blockbuster move to sign Marseille hitman Michy Batshuayi during the summer.
Batshuayi, 22, has been tipped for stardom since his days at Standard Liege, and having signed for Marseille in 2014, he has lived up to that billing so far.
After seven goals in 25 games last season - with only six starts - Batshuayi impressed, has now smashed 15 goals in 26 games this season, becoming one of the most dangerous strikers in Europe.
Now, the Daily Mail suggest that West Ham want to make a huge signing to mark their move to the Olympic Stadium this summer, and have identified Batshuayi as the 20-goal-a-season striker that they need.
It's stated that Batshuayi could cost around £20m, and West Ham could call upon agent Mark McKay to secure the deal, given that he helped bring Dimitri Payet from Marseille to West Ham over the summer.
Would Batshuayi be a good signing for West Ham?
