Remi Garde comments on Aston Villa fans' booing during Wycombe Wanderers win

Aston Villa are now unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions.

Remi Garde has insisted to Sky Sports that he fully understands Aston Villa supporters’ frustrations.

Villa are unbeaten in their last four matches, but there is still a feeling of unrest around Villa Park.

The Claret and Blues were booed at times, during their 2-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup yesterday evening.

And Garde said: "I can understand the anger but it is the cup and it can be difficult. But we must improve, yes."

Villa were not at their best against Wycombe, and it took them a long time to get past their League Two opponents.

The Chairboys gave Garde’s side a real scare, but Villa ultimately came through thanks to two second half strikes.

And although Villa have secured their progress, supporters of the Midlands club still want to see an improvement in future weeks.

Villa have managed to progress slightly recently, but they are still nine points away from safety - and their chances of survival remain slim.
