QPR fans react on Twitter to Peter Crouch speculation

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window.

Queens Park Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the reported interest in Stoke City striker Peter Crouch.

According to a recent report in The Daily Mail, QPR are among three clubs interested in signing the former Tottenham Hotspur man in the January transfer window.

Championship rivals Bristol City and Leeds United are also claimed to have shown an interest in the 34-year-old.

Crouch has been on the books of Stoke since 2011 and has a contract until June 2017. The Englishman is struggling for playing time at the Potters at the moment, and it is unlikely that he will feature in too many games between now and the end of the season.

The former Aston Villa striker, who played for QPR during the 2000-01 season, has played just four Premier League games so far this season.

The 34-year-old has created one chance, has a pass accuracy of 65%, and has won seven headers.

QPR recently sold striker Charlie Austin to Premier League side Southampton, but they have signed Conor Washington from Peterborough United as a possible replacement.

Do Rangers need another striker?

QPR fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on speculation linking the club with Crouch.
