Taking to his personal Twitter account, Michail Antonio has revealed his excitement at playing in the Olympic Stadium with West Ham, with the club set to move to their new ground this summer.
Antonio arrived at West Ham over the summer transfer window, agreeing a deadline day switch from Championship side Nottingham Forest.
His career started with him on the sidelines, struggling to get a look in in Slaven Bilic’s team, given how well they were performing in the league.
However, an injury crisis resulted in Antonio being promoted to the senior set-up, and he has since impressed for the Hammers.
He has played 10 Premier League games, scoring two goals and registering one assist, and showing a real work ethic and determination to always give his best for the East London side.
And Antonio has plans to still be with the club next season, playing in the Olympic Stadium when the Hammers move there at the end of this campaign.
He wants to be on the field with 54,000 fans around him singing and chanting for the team they support, as the Hammers look to establish themselves as one of the biggest clubs in English - and European - football.
