Nicholas said: “I see Leicester are outsiders with the bookies, which is a surprise, but I think we're all still grasping for reality with regard to the Foxes this season. Harry Kane has struggled against Wes Morgan, who has pace and strength and can be over-aggressive at times. I just think Leicester can do it and I think their story will continue. As much as we expect them to fall away in the league, which I think they will, I fancy them to come through here.”
Nicholas is one of few people predicting a Leicester win this evening, taking them through to a fourth round tie against Colchester.
He believes that the Foxes should not be considered outsiders for the game, as the former striker sees Leicester’s amazing season continuing with another victory.
In Wes Morgan, Leicester have a defender who is playing at the top of his game, and Nichoals believes the centre-back has enough about him to marshall Harry Kane.
Kane is Spurs’ biggest goalscoring threat, and with him out of the game, Tottenham always look less fluid in the final third.
Kane was the difference maker in the 2-2 draw between the two sides, coming on as a late substitute and scoring the penalty which brought the replay.
However, he was well marshalled just days later, and Robert Huth’s header was enough for the Foxes to clinch all three points in the Premier League tie.
Nicholas is predicting another Leicester win, claiming Shinji Okazaki will score first in a 2-1 victory.
