If Rangers want to raid Arsenal for new additions this season or in the summer they have received boost.
On loan midfielder Gedion Zelalem told the Evening Times, he will recommend the move to his Arsenal teammates.
He said: “I’d definitely recommend coming to Rangers to other young players at Arsenal because they’ll learn what it’s like playing for a big club.
"I will tell the boys a lot about Rangers when I go back and would encourage anyone wanting to go on loan to come here. I’d tell them to go straight for it if Mark Warburton wanted them."
Here are three players the Scottish side should consider making a move for...
Central midfielder Crowley is viewed as one of Arsenal's most exciting prospects, and even is further along in his development than Zelalem. He impressed on loan at League One side Barnsley this season, but faces a tough challenge to break into the Arsenal first team, struggling to do so even with injuries to Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere. He is available now, and would be an excellent addition either this season or next.
England under-21 international Akpom is highly regarded at Arsenal and has been prolific for both the club's youth sides and his country's. Yet he has found the step up to pro level tough, with unsuccessful spells with Coventry, Nottingham Forest, and is currently at Hull City where he has netted just three goals all season. If his deal at the KC is cancelled, then a move to Rangers would be his best bet, to give him a change of scene and build up his confidence if he can go on a goalscoring run.
Alex Iwobi is the nephew of legendary midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha, and is on the fringes of the Arsenal first team, recently appearing as a substitute. This has only been due to injuries to the likes of Alexis Sanchez, and it is unlikely he will start many if any games this season. With Nathan Oduwa sent back to Tottenham, Rangers could hope to upgrade him by loaning in a potentially more polished player.
