The Republic of Ireland winger looks destined to leave Goodison Park this month.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder looks set to leave Goodison Park in the January transfer window, with a number of clubs thought to be interested in his services.
He is far down the pecking order, with Gerard Deulofeu, who has impressed this season, and Aaron Lennon both ahead of him in the hierarchy.
McGeady will need game time between now and the summer though, as he needs to prove his fitness to earn a place in his country’s squad travelling to France for Euro 2016.
And it appears that former club Spartak Moscow are keen on bringing him back to the club, with the Daily Mail claiming the Russians are one of several clubs interested in his services, according to the Daily Mail.
There is also interest in England, specifically the Championship, with Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers, also interested in a deal for McGeady this month.
One potential stumbling block for all three sides could be the player’s desire to play Premier League football, with the Times reporting he would prefer an move to another side in England’s top flight above all else.
