Conor Washington is set to undergo his QPR medical today, Sky Sports reports.
The 23-year-old striker has been in exceptional form for Peterborough this season, and the report claims a £3.5 million fee has been agreed between the two clubs.
Personal terms have also been agreed between the forward and the West London club, and an announcement is expected today concerning the formal signing of Washington.
Washington, who started his career with St. Ives Town before moving to Newport County in 2012, has scored 15 goals in 30 games in all competitions this season, with 10 in 24 League One games.
He has 32 goals in 93 games for Posh since signing for the club in January 2014, and at his age he can only continue to develop into a better striker.
QPR have targeted Washington as the replacement for Charlie Austin, who has recently signed for Southampton.
The Rs want to have the striker signed this week, and he is set to become the first arrival of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s reign in charge at Loftus Road.
