Middlesbrough fans react on Twitter to the latest rumours around Ross McCormack

Middlesbrough are reportedly trying to sign Fulham striker Ross McCormack.

Middlesbrough fans are seemingly keen to for the club to push through a deal for Fulham striker Ross McCormack.

HITC revealed Middlesbrough’s interest in McCormack earlier this week, although their initial bid of £8 million has been rejected.

The North East based club are expected to return for the former Leeds United man in the coming weeks though, and McCormack is said to want a move to the Riverside Stadium.

Boro have been the Championship’s standout team so far this season, and they are currently leading England’s second tier.

However, Aitor Karanka still wants to make additions to his team and the signing of a striker could be crucial.

Middlesbrough have built their success around their defensive strength this term, but there is a feeling their goalscoring threat could be improved.

McCormack’s arrival would certainly do that - and Middlesbrough fans have backed the club to bring the striker in.

Here is the best reaction from Middlesbrough supporters on social media site Twitter to the McCormack rumours.
