Lee Erwin and Jordan Botaka have both been drafted into the Leeds United Under-21 starting lineup for this evening’s game against their Liverpool counterparts.
Casper Sloth and Kalvin Phillips also start for the Whites at Tranmere Rovers' Prenton Park.
This is Paul Hart's side's first competitive game for almost a month. The last time they played was in the week before Christmas when they got the better of Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 at Thorp Arch.
Meanwhile, Steven Caulker has been drafted into the Liverpool U21 starting lineup for the Premier League Cup last-16 tie.
The defender recently joined Liverpool on loan from Championship side Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old centre-back will be looking to give a good account of himself in what is expected to be a very competitive match.
Caulker, who was expected to be on loan at Southampton until the end of the season, has made two appearances for the Liverpool first team so far.
