Wolverhampton Wanderers are lining up a loan move for Watford's Belgian striker Obbi Oulare, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is in the market for striking reinforcements during this month's transfer window after selling top scorer Benik Afobe to Bournemouth.
Jackett is keen to bring in a big target man to add to his attacking options at Molineux and 6ft 5in Belgium Under-21 international Oulare is on his radar.
Oulare joined Watford on transfer deadline day in the summer from Club Brugge in a £6million deal, but he has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Vicarage Road.
The 20-year-old, who featured in the Champions League qualifiers against Manchester United earlier in the season, has made just one appearance for Watford so far this term in the FA Cup against Newcastle and he was substituted at the break in that game.
Oulare is well down the pecking order in Quique Sanchez Flores' first-team plans and Watford could be willing to let the striker out on loan so that he can valuable action under his belt.
Jackett is expected to be busy in the last two weeks of the transfer window as he looks to strengthen his squad in a bid to push for promotion in the second half of the season.
