Alan Pardew has previously admitted that he would be interested in the former Arsenal striker.
The Sun previously confirmed that Alan Pardew was interested in a move for the striker - who is a free agent, having left Tottenham earlier in the season - and Dann believes that the 31-year-old will fit right in if he was to join the Eagles, despite question marks regarding his attitude.
"Whoever comes into the club, whether it is Adebayor or somebody else, in this squad they will always fit in. This is a strong changing room," Dann said, as reported by The Sun.
"There has been stuff said about him in the past but I am sure he is a good lad.
"He is a quality striker and I am sure if he does come to the club he will do a good job."
Palace are in desperate need of signing a forward during this window if recent form is anything to go by. In their last six matches, they have failed to score on five occasions, and that has seen them fall from outside contenders for a top four spot in the Premier League right into the mid-table pack.
While there are certainly question marks surrounding whether Pardew should pursue a deal for the Togo forward, Adebayor has scored 96 Premier League goals, so undoubtedly knows how to find the back of the net.
And with Palace struggling for goals currently, and Dann offering assurances that he would do well should he join the club, it seems that it may possibly be a bigger gamble for the team not to go after the striker.
