Taking to his personal Twitter account, QPR legend Rodney Marsh has reacted to the Rs victory over Rotherham on Saturday.
Another great result for QPR - JFH on a role......— Rodney Marsh (@RodneyMarsh10) January 18, 2016
The game, which was won by a 3-0 scoreline, was the first to bring all three points for Hasselbaink since his appointment at Loftus Road back in December.
It was his first victory at nine attempts, and whilst that sounds fairly poor, the 43-year-old has done much to steady what was a very questionable club prior to his appointment.
He has brought a defined brand of football that he wants to play, and has made it clear which players are part of his first-team set-up.
Junio Hoillett, Matt Phillips and Sebastien Polter netted the three goals against Rotherham to secure Hasselbaink’s first three points as QPR boss.
He has now won one, drawn five and lost three of his nine games in charge at Loftus Road, and Marsh has claimed that the Dutchman is now on a roll as head coach.
Hasselbaink has steadied the ship, and now that he has picked up his first win, things can only continue to improve for the Rs under his leadership.
