According to a report in the Express & Star, Wolverhampton Wanderers are not interested in signing Chris Wood from Leeds United.
Wood was said to be a transfer target for Kenny Jackett’s side, but it is understood that Wolves have no interest.
The former Leicester City man has not been particularly prolific in the Championship this season and Wolves are set to look elsewhere in their search for a replacement for Benik Afobe.
Afobe left Wolves to join Bournemouth earlier in the January transfer window, leaving them with a void in their squad up front.
Wolves have been linked with a range of strikers since, but they are also believed to have no interest in signing Kemar Roofe from Oxford United.
Roofe has been one of the most impressive players in League Two so far this term, but he is also reportedly not on Jackett’s wishlist.
Wolves have partnered Michal Zyro and Rajiv van la Parra up front in Afobe’s absence so far.
