Tottenham are said to hold interest in Barcelona attacker Sandro.
Catalan newspaper Sport report that Betis have enquired with the Spanish champions about signing Sandro on loan, and are hopeful of doing a deal.
The Mirror's live transfer blog reported on Monday at 18:12 that Tottenham remain keen to sign Sandro permanently, less keen on a loan deal.
Sandro is keen on an exit to go and play regularly but Sport report that Tottenham would be unwilling to accept Barcelona's demands to include a buy-back clause as part of a deal.
It appears increasingly likely that Tottenham will miss out on the prospect, and that is not necessarily a bid thing.
Sandro is an exciting talent but is more of a project than a player who the club could guarantee could make an impact in the Premier League title race.
A loan move to Betis could be the best solution for all parties, as it will allow Barcelona to monitor him at close quarters.
