FC Porto will not sell Yacine Brahimi to Crystal Palace in the January transfer window, according to A Bola.
It has been reported by the Portuguese publication that Palace are interested in signing the 25-year-old attacker this month.
However, Porto will not sell the Algeria international, claims the report, which also states that Brahimi himself does not want to leave in January.
Brahimi, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, is one of the better players in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
The former Granada man has experience of European football, and it makes sense for him to wait until the summer and then decide his future.
Palace are having a good season in the Premier League, and it seems that the London club want to make signings and reinforce their squad.
Alan Pardew’s side are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 31 points from 22 matches.
The Eagles are eight points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently fourth and occupy the final Champions League spot.
