Report: Liverpool interested in Queens Park Rangers 'keeper Rob Green

The Reds are reportedly looking for a replacement for Adam Bogdan.

Liverpool are considering a move for Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Rob Green, according to the London Evening Standard.

The Reds' goalkeeping department has come in for stern criticism this season, with both Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan suffering high profile mistakes.

Questions have once again been raised about the Belgian and whether he is good enough for a side looking to challenge for a top four place and beyond.

Bogdan meanwhile, has struggled to impress since joining in the summer, with big mistakes against Watford and Exeter City in the FA Cup already this season.

And as far as the Standard is concerned, the Reds are considering making a move for QPR keeper’ Rob Green to replace Bogdan as back up to number one Mignolet.

The keeper’ is reportedly free to leave Loftus Road this season, with the club willing to allow him to exit on a free transfer, again reported by the Standard.

Liverpool are not the only side interested in his services though, with Premier League rivals Bournemouth and Crystal Palace also thought to be considering a move for the former England number one.
