Blackburn Rovers are reportedly interested in signing Danny Graham from Sunderland in the January transfer window.

Blackburn Rovers are interested in signing Danny Graham from Sunderland in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

It has been reported that Blackburn have made an offer to the Black Cats to sign the striker on loan until the end of the season.

“Blackburn Rovers have a loan offer on the table for striker Sunderland striker Danny Graham,” states the report on Skysports.com.

“Graham, 30, could find his chances limited following the recent loan arrival of fellow frontman Dame N'Doye at the Stadium of Light.”

Graham has been on the books of Sunderland since 2013, but he has never managed to play regularly for the first team.

The 30-year-old striker has had loan spells at Hull City, Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent years.

The former Middlesbrough man has managed to feature in only 10 Premier League matches for Sunderland so far this season.

Graham has not scored a goal or created a chance, has a pass accuracy of 55% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and has won 11 headers and one tackle.

Blackburn are 18th in the Championship table at the moment with 29 points from 26 matches, just five points above the relegation zone.
