Griffiths’ personal best in a season is 28 goals, and he wants to hit the 30-goal mark this campaign.

“My next target is 30 now,” the former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker told The Glasgow Evening Times. “That is what I am concentrating on.”

Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 49 points from 21 matches.

Ronny Deila’s side are three points clear of second-placed Aberdeen, who have played a game more.

The Bhoys will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Hamilton Academical at Celtic Park in Glasgow in the Scottish Premiership.

Hamilton are 10th in the league table at the moment with 24 points from 22 matches.
