Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Jordan Graham has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Graham has torn his anterior cruciate knee ligament and faces a lengthy spell out of action, as announced on Wolves’ official website this morning.
The 20-year-old winger suffered the injury during the Championship game against Cardiff City at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.
The former Aston Villa prospect picked up the injury in the 65th minute and had to be stretchered off, as Wolves lost the encounter 3-1.
The statement on Wolves’ official website added that “while too early to give an exact timescale, looks like being sidelined for between nine and 12 months”.
Graham broke into the Wolves’ first team at the end of the November and has been a regular since then.
The youngster has scored one goal and created 27 chances in 11 Championship appearances this season.
The attacker has a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 33%, and has won 10 headers, 23 dribbles and 11 tackles.
Graham has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the long-term injury, with Wolves fans responding to his message on the social networking site.
