Newcastle United players have taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in the win against West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
The Magpies returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over West Ham at home.
Ayoze Perez put the Magpies in the lead in the sixth minute, and Georginio Wijnaldum added a second on 15 minutes.
Nikica Jelavic halved the deficit for the Hammers four minutes into the second half, but the home team eventually picked up all three points.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. James’ Park, hosts Newcastle had 50% of the possession, took 23 shots of which 10 were on target,
Visitors West Ham had 50% of the possession, took 10 shots of which three were on target, and earned three corners.
Newcastle are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 21 points from 22 matches. Steve McClaren’s side are two points clear of third-from-bottom Swansea City, who will face Watford at the Liberty Stadium on Monday evening.
