Wolverhampton Wanderers are desperate to add to their forward line after Benik Afobe's move to Bournemouth.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Wolverhampton Wanderers are eager to sign Kemar Roofe from Oxford United.

Wolves have money to spend following the departure of Benik Afobe to Bournemouth, and they are interested in increasing their attacking options.

Wolves have been linked with a number of strikers in recent times, while they have also brought in Michal Zyro already.

Zyro has made an impressive start to life at Wolves - scoring three times in his first two Championship matches - but manager Kenny Jackett reportedly still wants to add further quality to his forward line.

Wolves have limited options in attack, and they believe that Roofe will increase their scoring threat.

The former West Bromwich Albion man is capable of playing in midfield or up front, and his form down in League Two has been nothing short of sensational.

The 23-year-old has scored 17 times in 30 matches for Oxford in League Two this season, and Wolves believe that he is capable of making the step up to the Championship.
