Everton are interested in signing Bertrand Traore from Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
It has been claimed by the British tabloid that Chelsea will allow the 20-year-old attacker to leave on loan.
However, according to the report, the London outfit want the youngster's £40,000-a-week wages paid in full.
“Midfielder Traore has barely played this season, but Chelsea want to keep him happy as they see him as a future star,” adds the report in The Sun.
Traore, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has been on the books of Chelsea since 2010.
The Burkina Faso international is highly rated, but it is unlikely that he will get to play too many games for the Blues between now and the end of the season.
There is a strong competition for places at Everton as well, but the 20-year-old is likely to get more playing time at the Merseyside outfit than at Stamford Bridge.
Moreover, Everton manager Roberto Martinez has a good track record of working with talented, young players.
Chelsea are 14th in the Premier League table at the moment, while Everton are 11th in the standings.
