Everton are keen to sign Traore on loan, as they reportedly feel he would increase their attacking options.
Traore has only played four times for Chelsea so far this season, and Guus Hiddink’s side are allegedly keen for him to go out on loan to aid his development.
The Toffees would have to pay all of his £40,000-a-week wages to sign him, but Martinez is not too concerned about the 20-year-old’s significant salary.
The Spanish boss is more worried that Chelsea could reignite their interest in Stones if he does come in for Traore.
Chelsea tried to sign Stones from Everton before the season started, but Everton resisted all their attempts to sign their prized prospect.
The Toffees, however, are concerned that Chelsea will make further bids for the England international centre back if they show interest in one of their players, and that could any move for Traore in doubt. After all, Stones is an integral part of this Everton side and they will want to keep him at the club for as long as possible.
