Ray Parlour reacts on Twitter to Petr Cech's performance v Stoke

The former Arsenal midfielder was delighted the goalkeeper could earn his side a point against the Potters.

It said a lot about Arsenal's 0-0 draw against Stoke City that both goalkeepers were considered the best performers on Sunday afternoon.

It was Petr Cech who won the man-of-the-match award and his superb display was the biggest reason the Gunners were able to leave the Britannia Stadium with a clean sheet and a point.

If Arsenal are to win the title - or any trophy - this season, there will be no doubts as to how key the signing of Cech was this summer.

People are already discussing how much of a 'bargain' the shot stopper is proving to be - despite costing millions of pounds.

And former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour was understandably impressed with the 33-year-old on Twitter:

Parlour wasn't the only one to celebrate Cech's contribution, with Arsenal icons Ian Wright and David Seaman also showing their appreciation for his performance against Stoke...

Despite failing to score themselves, Arsenal have still returned to the top of the Premier League table on goal difference. Next up for the north London side is a home clash against Chelsea next Sunday.
