The Gers maintained their good run of form with a 4-1 victory over Livingston at Ibrox in Glasgow in the Scottish Championship.
All four of Rangers’ goals came in the first half, while the visitors pulled one back in the second period.
Danny Wilson, Martyn Waghorn (two) and Kenny Miller were on target for the home team, while Liam Buchanan scored for Livingston.
Forrester and Thompson have taken to Twitter to express their delight at the final result. Star striker Waghorn has also revelled in the win on the social networking site, and has assured the fans that the injury he suffered against Livingston is not serious.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox, hosts Rangers had 63% of the possession, took 16 shots of which nine were on target, and earned 16 corners.
Mark Warburton’s side are at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment with 50 points from 20 matches, as many as six points clear of second-placed Falkirk.
