Norwich City fans react on Twitter to Russell Martin's performance against Bournemouth

Norwich City were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth yesterday.

Russell Martin’s performance for Norwich City against Bournemouth has been slammed by the club’s supporters on Twitter.

Martin started at right-back for Norwich in their 3-0 defeat to the Cherries and he endured a torrid afternoon.

Bournemouth’s Charlie Daniels caused him no end of problems throughout the contest, and he did not look comfortable at any stage.

Daniels scored Bournemouth’s second goal, and he set up Benik Afobe’s late third as Martin struggled to cope with his pace.

Martin has been a loyal servant for Norwich and he currently wears the captain’s armband, but Canaries supporters are calling for him to be dropped.

With a move for Wolfsburg defender Timm Klose nearing its completion, according to the Guardian, and Ivo Pinto already snapped up, Norwich fans are calling for Alex Neil to drop the Scotland international.

Many of their supporters have accused Martin of simply not being good enough to play in the Premier League.

Here is the best reaction from Norwich fans to Martin’s performance on social media site Twitter.
