Aston Villa stopper Mark Bunn sends out defiant message on Twitter after Leicester draw

Aston Villa and Leicester City drew 1-1 at Villa Park yesterday.

Mark Bunn has insisted that Aston Villa will continue to fight, even after failing to beat Leicester City yesterday.

Villa drew 1-1 with the Foxes on Saturday and they remain nine points adrift of safety as a result.

Their chances of staying up look very slim, but Bunn is adamant that his team will keep battling until the bitter end and he put out of a defiant message on social media after his side’s match against Leicester.

In truth, if it was not for Bunn Villa may have been on the end of another defeat against Claudio Ranieri’s men.

The goalkeeper made a series of great saves, including stopping a penalty from Riyad Mahrez, and he looks to have become Remi Garde’s first choice in goal due to Brad Guzan’s poor form of late.

Leicester took the lead against Villa when Shinji Okazaki tapped in from close range, but Villa kept going and got their reward in the second half through Rudy Gestede.

Although they pressed for a winner, the Villans were unable to take any of their chances and they were left disappointed at the final whistle, with draws doing little to aid them in their battle for survival.
