Newcastle United were hard at training and surrounded by snow yesterday as they prepared to take on West Ham United later this afternoon.

Saivet joins a bustling French community at St James' Park whilst Shelvey arrives after falling out of favour with the Swansea City head coach Alan Curtis. He will be hoping to cement a place in the Euro 2016 squad after a difficult start to the year.
But it was not only those coming that caught the eye but those that have reportedly been said to be going.
Florian Thauvin has failed to impress at the club since arriving from Marseille in the summer. The Chronicle Live were reporting that Marseille wanted to bring him back to the club on loan.
However Thauvin, who has played just 420 minutes of Premier League football this season, is back in the squad for the West Ham tie.
