Aston Villa v Leicester predicted lineups and match preview

Aston Villa take on Leicester City at Villa Park this afternoon.

To be played on Saturday 16th January 2016 at 17:30. Venue: Villa Park, Birmingham

Odds: Aston Villa 5/2, Draw 21/10, Leicester 6/5

Aston Villa host Leicester City at Villa Park, as they look to build on Tuesday's win over Crystal Palace.

Bottom club Villa won for just the second time in the Premier League this season in midweek, with Joleon Lescott hitting a late winner to give Remi Garde's a shock victory over Palace.

The win handed Garde and Villa a real boost, but they still sit eight points adrift of Premier League safety, and need to continue picking up points - starting today against Leicester.

Micah Richards is available again, and could come in at right back for Leandro Bacuna, whilst striker Libor Kozak will be hoping to continue up front after a promising display against Palace.

Meanwhile, Leicester moved joint-top of the Premier League table with a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday afternoon, as their fairytale season continues.

Manager Claudio Ranieri is unlikely to make changes from the side which beat Spurs in midweek, with the likes of N'Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy likely to start the game.

With just one goal in their last four games, this doesn't look like being a goal-fest, but should be an intriguing battle between top and bottom of the Premier League table.
