Andy Gray predicts Newcastle v West Ham

Newcastle United will face West Ham United at home in the Premier League today.

Former Everton and Aston Villa striker Andy Gray has predicted on Paddypower.com that West Ham United will win against Newcastle United this weekend.

Newcastle will host West Ham at St. James’ Park in the Premier League this afternoon, and Gray expects the London side to pick up all three points.

“West Ham are the form team in the Premier League, they’ve won their last four games, and I predict that run will keep going,” the former Scotland international has written on Paddypower.com. “Newcastle did amazing to come back during the week but it’ll have taken it out of them.”

A footnote added: “Andy’s bet : West Ham to win.”

Newcastle are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from 21 matches.

The Magpies are just a point behind 17th-placed Swansea City and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Steve McClaren’s side will head into today’s game on the back of a 3-3 draw with Manchester United at home.

Meanwhile, West Ham currently find themselves fifth in the Premier League table with 35 points from 21 matches.

The Hammers are just a point behind Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently fourth in the standings and occupy the final Champions League spot.

Slaven Bilic’s side will head into today’s encounter against Newcastle on the back of a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium.
