Report: West Bromwich Albion interested in Ligue 1 full-back pair Brice Dja Djedje and Henri Bedimo

The Marseille and Lyon pair might make good signings for West Brom.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in the signature of Marseille player Brice Dja Djedje.

It is being reported by Le Phoceen that the Ivorian is in the crosshairs of West Brom fill in at the right-back position for the Baggies this month.

He has lost his place in the Marseille first-team to former Liverpool loanee Javier Manquillo.

On top of West Brom's interest in Dja Djedje they are also said to be keen on Cameroonian international Henri Bedimo. The 31-year-old defender is currently with Lyon and has featured for the club 14 times this season.

Both players would certainly fill problem positions at West Brom. Full-backs are in short supply at The Hawthorns.

Craig Dawson has been playing at right-back for West Brom most of this season whilst Jonny Evans and Chris Brunt has also played there - all three options playing out of their recognised positions.

The arrival of two experienced Ligue 1 full-backs would be excellent for West Brom in their current situation.

Whether the interest proves to be solid or not remains to be seen but West Brom should certainly be looking at improving these positions.
