Former footballer Rodney Marsh has high praise for Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane.
The ex-Manchester City ace turned pundit is so impressed with the England international that he has compared him to Arsenal great, Dennis Bergkamp.
Kane scored 27 Premier League goals in the calendar year of 2015, the most in the Premier League, but Marsh believes it is his intelligence rather than simply his finishing which makes him so distinguishable.
Marsh made the comments on Twitter, in response to a fan who had commended him on his belief in the Tottenham attacker.
@RodneyMarsh10 impressed by your HK prediction though I really didn't see it two seasons running - natural goalscorer ?— Gary Spencer (@garyspencerr) January 15, 2016
>Yes & watching him live, his positional play is best I've seen since Dennis Bergkamp https://t.co/IF3qAZC18K— Rodney Marsh (@RodneyMarsh10) January 15, 2016
Most Arsenal fans would suggest that Kane has a long way to go before he can even be mentioned in the same breath as the legendary Dutchman, but Marsh's comments are a great compliment all the same.
The Spurs striker is remarkably consistent, netting 14 goals for his club this season already, and at just 22-years-old is preparing for his first major tournament with England at Euro 2016.
