There's so much wrong with this we're not sure where to start...
We're not sure if he's still full of Christmas cheer or he's finally decided to stop being a massive troll and actually do stuff for Newcastle United, but Mike Ashley has decided to dip into his pocket again.
After splashing £12 million on Jonjo Shelvey from Swansea and bringing in Henri Saviet, Ashley is now ready to spend another £2.3m... but it's not what you expect.
Instead of using the cash to bring in a new defender who can actually run, the Newcastle owner has decided to do a big giveaway of Sports Direct stock we're guessing he couldn't shift over Christmas.
Now, as you can imagine, Newcastle fans were not exactly impressed by this and some fans decided to get well and truly stuck in to their club who are currently 19th in the Premier League.
While some fans are sick of the club selling them stuff basically from Sports Direct, loads of fans pointed out there was a massive mistake with the pricing of the jacket...
It's not like Mike Ashley to massive mark something up and then flog it on is it? (Cough, cough Andy Carroll!) While plenty of fans showed just how fed up they are with the club trying to promote Sports Direct so much, some pointed out that with the cold weather, the club should just give them away to homeless people in the city:
@NUFC everyone could always do it and give jacket to homeless— the realist (@howay51) January 14, 2016
Give loads of coats away to promote Sports Direct, or do something decent like donating them to the homeless. Classy as ever #nufc— Andrew (@AndrewPizzle) January 14, 2016
