Southampton gave themselves a huge boost after a recent poor run of form with a 2-0 win over Watford in the Premier League last night.
Shane Long had given the Saints the lead in the first half before Dusan Tadic doubled their lead late on in the second half to move them up to 12th place.
It was a good night for Ronald Koeman's side as they saw Graziano Pelle return to the side, while Fraser Forster made his comeback from a knee injury that kept him sidelined for ten months.
But there was some special praise on twitter for the work of Matt Targett, who earned some rave reviews for his first half performance in particular.
Usually played as a defender, Targett seemed to have been given a more advanced role by his manager and the decision to do so paid off.
It was his cross that allowed Long to give Southampton the lead and set them on their way to victory - the first moment of real quality during the encounter, and caused plenty of problems for Allan Nyom.
