Predicted Leeds United line-up to play Sheffield Wednesday: Two changes from Evans

Here is how we predict Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United will line up this weekend:

To be played on Saturday 16th January 2016 at 12:30. Venue: Hillsborough, Sheffield

Odds: Sheff Wed 10/11, Draw 5/2, Leeds 29/10

Sheffield Wednesday welcome Leeds United to Hillsborough on Saturday as the Whites look to get back to winning ways after their 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town last time out.

That loss ended an impressive undefeated streak for Steve Evans’ team and they will have to be at their very best to overcome a Wednesday side currently seventh in the Championship table with three victories on the bounce.

The Owls overcame Bolton Wanderers 3-2 earlier this week having previously defeated Fulham in both the league and the FA Cup.

Leeds have seen a real upturn in form since Evans took charge and he is beginning to make a considerable difference, bringing in some of his own signings to transform the side, with Liam Bridcutt and Mustapha Carayol both impressing to date.

Leeds are currently 15th in the second tier with 32 points, but if they can go on another run there is every chance they could make a late claim for a play-off spot come May.
