Peter Crouch transfer betting: QPR favourites ahead of West Bromwich Albion

Crouch Quiz

Odds are available on Queens Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion to sign Stoke City’s Peter Crouch.

According to the latest odds published by popular Bookmakers Sky Bet, Queens Park Rangers are favourites to sign Stoke City’s Peter Crouch ahead of West Bromwich Albion.

The 6ft 7inch striker has found first-team opportunities hard to come at the Britannia Stadium, making just four substitute appearances accumulating to 54 minutes in the Premier League this season.

Crouch still has top-flight pedigree, and his situation at Stoke has left him rather frustrated as he recently told Sky Sports that a move away from the club may be in his best interests.

The 34-year-old wouldn’t be short on suitors and the latest transfer odds published by Sky Bet reflect that with odds available on as many as eight potential teams for Crouch to join before 3rd February.

According to the Bookmakers, Queens Park Rangers are favourites to land Crouch with odds of 2/1.

The Hoops are currently struggling to make headways in the Championship, and their latest 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers extended their winless run under new manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

A top six spot may already be beyond the West London side this season, yet that shouldn’t detract from the possibility of strengthening the squad this month – especially upfront where they are lacking.

Crouch would be a good short-term option, yet his future may still lie in the Premier League with West Brom cited as second favourites to sign him with odds available at 5/1.

The Baggies boss Tony Pulis will know all about the striker’s capabilities due to their time together at Stoke, and a further addition up top may be on the Hawthorns side’s wish-list this month.

Bristol City [16/1], Leeds United [16/1], Sunderland [18/1], Bournemouth [20/1], Coventry City [20/1] and Portsmouth [20/1] make up the rest though each seem very unlikely at present.

The odds on Crouch to remain at Stoke are 5/2, suggesting he could be on the move this month.
