Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 1-0 by Leicester City at White Hart Lane.
Harry Kane has reacted on Twitter after his Tottenham Hotspur side were beaten by Leicester City at White Hart Lane last night.
Spurs created numerous opportunities against the Foxes, but they could not convert any of their chances and they were made to pay when Leicester defender Robert Huth scored the winner late on.
It was a damaging defeat for Tottenham’s hopes of winning the Premier League title, and Kane could not hide his disappointment with the result.
Tough defeat to take. We're together as a squad & we'll be back at the Lane on Saturday to put it right. pic.twitter.com/m8scmDnbNa— Harry Kane (@HKane) January 13, 2016
Kane came as close as anyone to scoring for Spurs last night, when he hit the crossbar in the second half.
Erik Lamela also missed a host of good chances, but Leicester were resolute in their defensive work and claimed a huge victory.
The Foxes are now level on points with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table, and their remarkable form is showing no signs of slowing down.
Spurs, meanwhile, are stuck in fourth place - and they only have a one point advantage over West Ham United, who are in fifth.
