The Australian appears to be on Steve Evans' radar.
This week saw Leeds United linked with a shock move for Celtic playmaker Tom Rogic.
The Australian international has come good this season after initially struggling with fitness and form after a switch from Central Coast Mariners.
Leeds boss Steve Evans is a big Celtic fans and it would seem the impressive performances of the Australian this season have caught the attention of the Leeds manager.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reported two days ago that Leeds were hopeful of signing the player at the price of £1 million.
However, Celtic appear to have made it clear that Rogic is going nowhere.
Ronny Deila is quoted by the Daily Mail as stating:
"I haven't heard so much about that,' Deila said. 'But what I do know is that we want to re-sign Tom and have him here for the future.
"He's made a lot of progress and we see a lot of potential in him.
"He can do much better because he has only played for six months after being out for a year before that.
"He needs time so he's going to stay here with Celtic."
It certainly sounds as though Celtic have absolutely no interest in letting Rogic go this winter.
The move for the Australian always seemed an ambitious one for Leeds United. Rogic has only just settled into life with the Glasgow club and to jump ship now would be a mistake from the player.
Leeds should keep the 23-year-old on their radar for the future but for now it seems as though Leeds don't have a chance of getting hold of him.
