Newcastle United have received a double injury boost this week.
According to a report from Chronicle Live, Newcastle United will welcome back two previously injured players for their under-21 clash against Everton this evening.
Aarons has not played for the Newcastle first-team since mid-September while Riviere has not played for the entire campaign to date.
The younger of the two players is likely to have significantly more impact than the latter in the months ahead. However, Magpies manager Steve McClaren will no doubt be grateful to have more players to call on as he bids to guide the team out of the bottom three and up the Premier League table in the lead-up to May.
Aarons is tipped for a very bright future at Newcastle and some fans feel he deserves far more chances than he has had so far, while Riviere has not really got going as yet, playing just 28 matches since arriving at St James’ Park back in 2014.
