Liverpool midfielder Emre Can had another excellent game in the middle of the park as his side played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Premier League leaders Arsenal at Anfield.

As per the table provided by Opta Stats, Can was very much involved from the opening minute until he came off eight minutes from time to a warm reception from the Liverpool crowd.
The former Bayern Munich youngster posted 75 touches, 39 accurate passes, two key passes, two tackles, three interceptions and a remarkable 12 defensive duels won.
There remains question marks over Can’s distribution of the ball at times, yet supporters and observers alike sometimes forget that he is still only 22-years-old and already playing at a high level.
The German U21 international has made that holding midfield role at Liverpool his own of late and some of his driving runs from deep pose plenty of problems for the opposition.
Can’s replacement Joe Allen grabbed the all-important late equaliser for the Reds and the draw keeps the Merseyside club just five points shy of the top four.
