The West Ham United midfielder was the star of the show again in the 3-1 win over Bournemouth.
The Frenchman joined the club from Marseille for £10million in the summer, and he has been a big hit following a series of impressive performances in the first half of the campaign.
He has been out injured for the last two months after picking up an injury in the draw with Everton, but he returned on Tuesday to star in his side’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth.
£10million is looking like a bargain for him now, and Noble says they would gladly pay double that if he were joining in January.
“At the end of the day we paid £10m for him and would we pay double for him now - the answer is probably yes,” he told whufc.com.
“He has got so much ability and he works so hard for the team. A lot of people don't see that.
“They see his skills and the amazing goals he scores. But the hard work he puts in for the team, he has fitted in fantastically well.”
Given the way Payet has performed this season, there is no denying that £10million is looking like the bargain of the summer for Slaven Bilic and West Ham.
The Frenchman already has four assists and six goals in 14 appearances so far and is likely to add to that figure as the Hammers push for a place in the top six and beyond.
He is sure to be key to that push, with the side looking noticeably stronger with him among them.
