Report: After signing Benik Afobe, Bournemouth want Wolverhampton Wanderers' Danny Batth

Danny Batth has been a pivotal player for Wolverhampton Wanderers throughout the season so far.

Bournemouth could make a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Danny Batth, according to a report on TeamTalk.

The Cherries have already signed Benik Afobe from Wolves during the January transfer window, but they are keen to return to Molineux again.

Bournemouth have been tracking Batth’s progress all season, and they believe he could make a good addition at Dean Court.

Eddie Howe’s side have already been busy in the January window, but all their additions so far have been in attacking areas.

As well as buying Afobe, Bournemouth have also signed Lewis Grabban from Norwich City and Juan Iturbe on loan from Roma.

Howe is now keen to improve his defence and Batth is said to be high up on his wishlist with just over two weeks remaining in the current transfer window.

Wolves are reportedly determined not to lose another one of their key assets though, and they will do everything in their power to keep hold of the 25-year-old centre-back this month.
