Liverpool welcome Arsenal to Anfield this evening.
Liverpool’s players have been put through their paces ahead of the huge Premier League encounter with Arsenal this evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side is currently eighth in the table while Arsenal are top of the pile with 42 points to date, 12 points better off than tonight’s opponents.
Liverpool have plenty of work to do in the months ahead if they wish to secure a place in Europe next season. However, many of the sides above them are swapping places with such regularity that Klopp will not have given up hope of leapfrogging a few of them between now and May.
Among those Liverpool players training on Tuesday evening was new loan signing Steven Caulker who arrived from Championship side Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.
Caulker had been on loan at Southampton but that move was terminated early to allow him his Anfield switch.
Tiago Ilori was also pictured training after he returned from his loan spell at Aston Villa – which did not go according to plan – while 18-year-old Brazilian midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza was also involved while he waits patiently for his first-team debut.
