Micky Hazard reacts to Manchester United draw; says it’s great for Spurs

Tottenham take on Leicester City in the Premier League this evening.

Taking to his personal Twitter account, Spurs hero Micky Hazard reacted to Manchester United’s draw with Newcastle United, indicating that it gives Spurs a great chance to get a hold on the top four this evening.

United could only draw 3-3 with the Magpies, conceding in the final minutes of the game to a Paul Dummett strike.

The result was not great for either side, as it kept Newcastle in a relegation battle, and prevent the Red Devils from closing in on the top four.

Whilst they could have been equal on points with Spurs if they had won, they currently sit two points off the Lilywhites, who have a great chance extend the gap between the top four and United this evening.

Spurs take on Leicester City at White Hart Lane this evening, in what is a top of the table clash. A victory for either team pushes them towards the top of the table, whilst closing off the top four from rival clubs such as United and West Ham.

Hazard has admitted his delight at the United draw, and he is hoping to see Spurs take advantage this evening, although they do face a tough task against Leicester.

Another Spurs legend, Ossie Ardiles, also took to his personal Twitter account to preview the game against the Foxes this evening.
