Arsenal loanee Jon Toral is winning over fans at Birmingham City, impressing on loan for the club.
The Spaniard scored the opener in the Blues' 1-1 away draw at Nottingham Forest, heading the ball into the net after just 11 minutes.
Toral is on his second season on loan in the Championship, having played a role at Brentford last year as the Bees made the play-offs.
The goal was Toral's fifth of the season in 16 starts, with three assists also to his name.
Signed by Arsenal from Barcelona as a teenager, Toral is showing that he may well be worth the Gunners persisting with and trying to integrate into the first team.
The 20-year-old lost almost a season a couple of years back due to injury so has been slightly behind where he would have wanted to be in terms of making it at Arsenal as a result, but he is picking up now.
He has been playing in the Mesut Ozil role for Birmingham as a number 10, which obviously will make it difficult for him to break through at Arsenal, but it may well be worth the club pushing him as an understudy to the German.
Birmingham fans were impressed with his display, here is a look at how they reacted via Twitter...
